Days 7-8
I had no movie action on Wednesday because of my KDHX schedule but I did hear through the peeps on the street that Remarkable Power was a funnier film then one would expect.
The Fish Fall In Love seemd to get a mixed reaction from those who saw it.
Last night I saw two solid films.
The first was The Wedding Director, an Italian film that drew two distinct responses. People either liked it or didn't. There was no half way. It is a film about Franco Elica, a filmmaker who fees scandal to Sicily only to get into more shenanigans.
It was an OK film but it could have been a little shorter to tighten up hte dramatic elements.
The second film was Of Parents & Children, a Czech film about a father and son who share a monthly walk together. As they walk they share insight about their lives. This bittersweet film deals with love, loss, relationships and the hard proces of communication between generations. There are lots of twists and turns in this well acted drama.
