Scavatto on Rock o' Love II
Wow, Andrew Scavatto put some time and energy into parsing out the reasons why so many folks were drawn into the wonderful and wacky web of "Rock of Love II." The insidestl.com columnist dishes it out here. He includes a bit of fishing, as well, attempting to hook the STL roots of winner Ambre Lake. (And who associated with this show was/is not a winner?) He promises to send results when someone eventually offers up a story about the youthful antics of Ms. Lake. And we look forward to reading them.
Scavatto's article was hilarious. Glad I'm not the only sucker obsessed with the show. Missed the reunion, but assuming VH1 will play a million re-runs of it. Ambre's performance on the last episode was pathetic. And Bret Michaels is such a twank. But I couldn't stop watching. I'm getting rid of cable as soon as Top Chef is over. I want my brain back.

no doubt -- watching people line up outside and pay $30 just so they can get into a St. Charles casino nightclub and clamor for Ambre's attention would certainly provide plenty of fodder for another column....but i'm rocked out. someone post some pictures
