The Potato?

Okay, I'll take the bait.

Welcome to the blogosphere, Ms./Mr. Potato:

http://thepotato.wordpress.com/

Gotta confess, a couple of the "headlines" had me laughing out loud. Who under this little tent of St. Louis writer/wonks is up to this impish pursuit? (Some might blame Franklin Jennings, but 52nd City's confirmed that it's not him.) Hmm, very interesting.

Take the bait, sure, but which ones, pray tell, had you "laughing out loud"? It thought the whole thing was embarrassingly unfunny.

I left a comment on that blog and The Potato deleted it. So much for feedback.

Well, it was actually the "Mike Allen cries about bricks" one that I enjoyed, R. No offense to the preservationist, of course.

I'm sorry if The Potato is limiting comments, as The Potato has been leaving them on multiple blogs in recent days. One would imagine that The Potato's comments would be deleted from other blog comments section, if that were the case.

Allen, your comment is there. And The Potato even reponded to it. Its at the top under headlines

I see my comment. The comments are not linked to from the blog entry, but are linked to on the "Headlines" subpage.

I don't cry about bricks, really, except for those flat veneer brick fronts used on some new buildings around town...
